Missouri Foundation for Fair Contracting (MFFC ) monitors counties in eastern Missouri for prevailing wage laws. We aid and assist in the exploration of possible violations of public works laws in the construction industry .

Our activities include the monitoring of construction jobs under either state and/or federal law which require the payment of prevailing wages.

We research patterns and practices of employers with regard to the payment of legally mandated wage rates and provide this information to state and federal agencies.

By establishing a wage rate, the law provides a level playing field for construction firms to compete for public works projects.
